Spoils from My garden

The strawberries are in the freezer waiting to be made into jam. We hand salad after salad after salad. We are going to also can the potatoes for food storage. Just waiting on the corn, zuchinni, tomatoes, blackberries, bell peppers, and the green beans. We also have sweet Peas and they are in the freezer waiting to be used. I only planted 1 cucumber plant and love the cucumbers that we have eaten so far. Next year we are going to try some different

This first group of paintings is called " The Vineyard".  I did these for a neighbor that has this decor in her kitchen. 

The second painting is "Waterfall".  I did this one for a friend at church.  She loves waterfalls so I surprised her with this.

First of all let me say that when I saw that Blogger has a new format I was not happy.  I liked it just the way it was.  Now let me show you some new paintings I have done. The first picture is of my sister and nephew.  It is on glass and then framed.  It was my first attempt so I don't think it is to bad.  I think I will be able to improve as I do more of them.  The second painting is called "Proud".  It is a painting I did from my sister in law Heather's photos that she took when they went hunting.
The next one after that is called "A Window View.  I painted the picture to look like I was looking out a window.  The last one is called "The Garden Steps".  Let me know what you think of my paintings and if you want one or want to commission a painting.

The Pencil Portrait is of My Mother-in-law's Mom.

The Purple Lilly is a painting I did for an older Sister in my church that is in a rehab center after a fall.

The Last Painting is something I saw and reproduced. Of course mine is a little different. I will probably use it in the Auction for the Youth in our church. Unless someone tells me they love it so much that they have to have it.

This is a poppy I did in watercolor. I didn't have enough room on the last post so it gets a post all its own.

Newest paintings and art Nov. 2011

This daisy painting isn't done yet I just wanted to see how it looked in a picture.

The sail boats was fun and I liked using really bright vibrant colors.

This one is a new medium for me. I am trying some new things and this is called Paint Chip Art.

This painting I experimented with a light color wash for the back ground. The rest of the painting was done in blacks, greys, dark greens and blues.

Now this painting is a new contemporary block picture I painted. I just wish I had a better camera so the photo did the painting justice.
